Join us on day 4 for a powerful talk presented by The Stay Safe Foundation. Do you use fitness to improve and stabilize your emotional health? How do you spread the message of fitness to those around you who are struggling emotionally or physically? How much do you depend on your fellow gym members for support and motivation?
Join three inspiring and influential veterans to hear their journey firsthand from representing and protecting our country to how fitness and community became critical components to their health. WOD on the Waves is honored to support The Stay Safe Foundation and we are so thrilled to present you this impactful event on the ship.

Stay Safe Foundation Mission
The Stay Safe Foundation is the brainchild of Eric Basek. Eric is a former police officer and is currently a law enforcement instructor and owner of Blue Titan Fitness in Rockaway, NJ. He founded The Stay Safe Foundation:
• To Support Police Officers through peer mentoring, advanced education and training grants.
• To Support the Recovery of Wounded Warriors through Peer Mentoring, Fitness Grants & Training.
Education is crucial to delivering world class service to your community and providing lifesaving support to your fellow brothers and sisters in Blue. Fitness can be the absolute strongest tool in your arsenal when recovering from injury, illness or depression.
With his growing national cadre of law enforcement instructors and his team of world class wounded warrior mentors, the Stay Safe Foundation hopes to change and save the lives of American Heroes all over the country.
